Federalism Awareness and Youth Dialogue Program Concluded in Hetauda
The Federalism and Localization Centre (FLC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning, Bagmati Province Government, organized a “Federalism Awareness and Youth Dialogue Program” in Hetauda on 12 August 2026.
Around 120 young people from various colleges actively participated in the program. The participants engaged in meaningful discussions and interactions on federalism, provincial and local governance, and the role of youth in strengthening Nepal’s federal system.
The enthusiasm, curiosity, and active participation of the young participants contributed significantly to the success of the program. The dialogue provided an important platform for young people to enhance their understanding of federalism, share their ideas and perspectives, and engage in constructive discussions on Nepal’s federal governance system.
Enhancing awareness of federalism among young people and ensuring their active and meaningful participation are crucial to strengthening and sustaining Nepal’s federal system. Encouraging youth engagement in discussions on federal governance can contribute to building a stronger, more inclusive, and sustainable federal system in Nepal.
