Dil Kumari Rawal Thapa (Parbati)

Dil Kumari Rawal Thapa (Parbati) is a prominent Nepali social and political activist with extensive experience in national politics and grassroots development. She served as a Member of the Federal Parliament of Nepal from 2017 to 2023 and held the position of Chair of the National Concern and Coordination Committee of the National Assembly from 2018 to 2023.

From 2019 to 2024, she led the National Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development, Nepal, promoting inclusive policies on population, development, and gender equity. She also served as the President of the CPN-UML Chitwan District Committee (2077–2078 B.S.) and currently holds key responsibilities as a Central Committee Member and Head of the Department of Education and Human Resources Development within the CPN-UML, one of Nepal's major political parties.

Academically, Ms. Thapa holds a Master’s degree in Sociology, and Bachelor's degrees in Sociology, Economics, and Law (LLB) from Tribhuvan University. Her early engagement includes three years of experience in human rights awareness, safe migration counseling, and community development projects.

Based in Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan, she is widely recognized for her leadership on federal affairs, women's empowerment, and education reform in Nepal.
